Well well well... It's been awhile since I've posted anything in my blog.. Been busy doing God knows what... Family problems, health problems and of course problems relating with my future studies.. What a life.. So here's another quote...
"When you feel like giving up, remember why you held on for so long in the first place."

Shit happens...
My dad told me the other day that he didn't expect me to get sick all the time now.. Coz I used to be the swimmer, squasher, runner and blablabla in the family.. Let's just say I'm the active one.. Always out and about.. Till I reached the age of... I dunno... I just got sick..
My 1st wisdom tooth was extracted on the 23rd of last month.. Awesome!! But that's a story for another day.. Haven't took any pictures of the tooth yet.. Looks like a dinosaur's tooth when it's upside down.. Hehe...
Then, theres the sinus.. It's not so bad now.. Under medication using the nasal spray... At least I can smell stuff now.. Last time, I can't even tell when someone fart in the car or something.. Or maybe someone died in the house?? I wouldn't have smelled that for sure.. My grandma is around 84 years old? And as usual, old people got this shitting problem right?? I didn't realize how smelly it was until I got back the ability to smell.. DARN!!! I wished I had my sinus back at that time.. Why do we want long life in the first place?? Would you rather be an old, cranky, babo, shitting machine??? I guess we gotta be thankful for what we have right???
Recently, I got problem with peeing.. Felt like I was that dude in the movie "The Green Mile"... The dude had a hard time peeing.. And so was I.. No joke missy.. Hurts like crap!! Everytime I had to go to the loo, I was like "Oh God here it goes *yikes!!!!*".. The peeing process is just dreadful.. You can pee properly.. It has to stop immediately when the pain kicks in.. So, you gotta wait till the next time to empty you freaking bladder..
I told my mum about it and she immediately send me to Dr. Nadia the next day... She gave me some powdered tingee in a packet and some antibiotics.. Both of them worked wonders I tell you.. I've googled and wiki about UTI and I hope it helps for those of you who are concerned about your vahjayjays...

Urinary Tract Infection
"is a bacterial infection that affects any part of the urinary tract. The main etiologic agent is Escherichia coli. Although urine contains a variety of fluids, salts, and waste products, it does not usually have bacteria in it. When bacteria get into the bladder or kidney and multiply in the urine, they may cause a UTI."

What causes UTI???
One of the most common cause of UTIs are bacteria from the bowel that live on the skin near the rectum or in the vagina, which can spread and enter the urinary tract through the urethra. Once these bacteria enter the urethra, they travel upward, causing infection in the bladder and sometimes other parts of the urinary tract.
How can someone get UTI??
- Sexual intercourse - the female anatomy can make women more prone to UTI. Thus, during sexual activity bacteria in the vaginal area are sometimes massaged into the urethra.
- Being too active in the sexual department - Women who change sexual partners or begin having sex more frequently have a higher chance of getting UTI.
- Waiting too long to go to the loo for business time - The bladder is a muscle that stretches to hold urine and contracts when urine is released. Waiting too long can cause the bladder to stretch beyond its capacity. Over time, the bladder muscle is weaken. When this happens, it may not be emptied completely and some urine is ledt in the bladder. Thus, increasing the risk to have UTI.
- Pregnancy
- Menopause
- Diabetes
How do I know whether it is UTI??
- stron urge to pee
- sharp pain or burning sensation in the urethra when the urine is released.
- most of the time, very little urine is released and the urine that is released may be tinged with blood.
- wants to pee ALL THE TIME
- soreness in the lower abdomen, back or sides.
So ladies, good luck when you feel any of the above.. Trust me, you'll be sweating in the toilet... When you're cured from this, you bet you're gonna be more thankful for being able to pee..
I googled on how to prevent UTI.. Here are 10 of 'em... Hope that helps...
- Drink plenty of water - Water help flushes your urinary tract
- Don't hold it when you wanna pee (A girls gotta do what they gotta do) - Holding it in can help any bacteria at the anus from entering the vagina or urethra.
- Wipe your vahjayjay's after peeing - This helps to prevent the bacteria at the anus from entering.
- Taking showers instead of baths
- Always wash your vahjayjays before and after sexual intercourse
- Avoid using feminine hygiene sprays and douches, paricularly scented douches - It can irritate the urethra and cxan cause other infections and irritations.
- Drink cranberry juice - This can help to prevent and also speed up the recovery process of UTI.
- Take Vitamin C supplements daily - This increases the acidity level of the urine which helps to reduce the number of harmful bacteria that may be present in your urinary tract.
- Always wear panties with a cotton crouch - This fabric lets moisture escape instead of trapping it. Trapped moisture can create a potential breeding ground for bacteria.
- Read the kamasutra - Changing positions during sexual instercourse can reduce the risk of UTI as it reduce the friction on your urethra.
Silly and kinky I know... But we're only human.. I'm a Bio student and this really freaked me out that time.. Especially when I pee fresh blood...
So cheers to UTI and hopefully it doesn't happen again..
XOXO...
